King’s Park: 7 minute drive

One of the world’s largest inner-city parks, King’s Park has something for everyone in the family. Take in panoramic views of the Swan River when you walk the Lotterywest Federation Walkway, peruse over 3000 species of WA’s unique flora at the Western Australian Botanic Garden or let the kids get connected to nature when they play at Rio Tinto’s Naturescape. And that’s not even the half of it, there are lots more playgrounds, parklands and attractions to discover.

Local beaches: 20-25 minute drive

WA is known for its beautiful white sand beaches, and there are lots to choose from! Just to name a few, there’s Cottesloe beach which features the iconic Indiana Teahouse, Scarborough beach with its bustling promenade and children’s playgrounds, or Trigg beach which is loved for its famous surf break.

Elizabeth Quay: 15 minute walk / 10 minute drive

Enjoy waterside views as the kids play on the island playground at Elizabeth Quay. When it’s hot you can’t miss the BHP Billiton Water Park where children (and adults!) have a blast splashing around. You can also find the the Bell Tower close by where you can watch the Bell Ringers perform and even join in the fun.
