“We are incredibly honoured to be recognised as Hotel of the Year at the 2025 Accor Pacific Awards, and to receive the Social Care & Impact award. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and passion of our entire team who embody the spirit of hospitality every day,” said Frost.
“At Novotel Perth Murray Street, we strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences while making a meaningful difference in our local community. These awards reflect our ongoing commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful for the support of our guests, partners, and the wider Accor family.”
Social Care & Impact Award
Novotel Perth Murray Street also took home the award for Social Care & Impact, a special category which acknowledged the hotel’s contributions to inclusion and community.
The category considers how a hotel embraces diversity, creating an inclusive workplace and connecting with the community to create an impact inside and outside of Accor. This included assessing how hotels work with their local communities alongside activation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Jai McNaughton, Talent and Culture Manager at Novotel Perth Murray Street, said that winning the Social Care & Impact award is a proud moment that reflects the heart of who we are at Novotel Perth Murray Street and is a celebration of the team’s commitment to Accor’s purpose: Pioneering the Art of Responsible Hospitality, Connecting Cultures, with Heartfelt Care.
“This amazing award recognises the everyday actions of our Heartists and the lasting impact we strive to make in the community around us. At Novotel Perth Murray Street, we bring our Heartist behaviours to life through meaningful action – championing care, inclusion and dignity in everything we do. We’re also excited to be on the path to becoming a Welcome with Pride accredited property, with team-wide training delivered to ensure LGBTQIA+ guests and Heartists feel genuinely seen, safe and respected,” said McNaughton.
“We have also partnered with Share the Dignity to install a Dignity Vending Machine providing free period products for our Heartists, and proudly became an Escabags stockist, offering discreet, practical emergency essentials bags for those escaping family and domestic violence.”
