Miss Mi Perth, the modern Asian restaurant inside Novotel Perth Murray Street, has been named a Finalist in the Licensed Asian category of the 2026 Gold Plate Awards, presented by the Catering Institute of Australia (WA).
The announcement caps an extraordinary week for the restaurant, coming just days after Miss Mi was also named a Finalist in the Asian Restaurant category of the 2026 Western Australia Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence.
Two of Western Australia’s most respected hospitality awards programs have now recognised Miss Mi as one of the state’s leading Asian dining destinations in the same week.
What are the Gold Plate Awards?
The Gold Plate Awards have been run by the Catering Institute of Australia since 1967, making 2026 the program’s 60th consecutive year.
The awards recognise excellence across Western Australia’s restaurants and hospitality venues, rewarding teams who set the benchmark for food, service and guest experience.
Miss Mi has been shortlisted in the Licensed Asian category, recognising the restaurant’s modern Asian menu, extensive beverage list and high standard of service.
The 2026 Gold Plate Awards Gala will be held on 19 October 2026 at Crown Towers Perth, where Finalists will learn whether they have taken home the win.
